[26] RP Profile Codes

Code:

Code:
❖ Make sure the image you use has a width of at least 500px. The height will adjust so also keep that in mind when you're choosing images, especially for the first code. The image will repeat itself. ❖ Be careful with spacing in profile codes. They'll create big empty spaces before you know it. I also recommend starting the code on the second line (like pressing enter and leaving a space at the top) so that it centers better. ❖ I made it so the first one is for user/character journals and the second one is for games/comms, but live your life, honestly. Use them however you like. ❖ That said, I would recommend using the first one if you have a shortish amount of text and the second if you have a lot of text. The height adjusting will look smoother. ❖ Instead of it being transparent, I just set the text backgrounds to the same color as the usual DW site background. This means that it won't have that transparent effect on all site layouts... I'm getting better, I promise. ❖ Accidentally inspired by Tricklet since it came out looking similar and I've used that one a lot in the past. Oops. ❖ I put the credit in the links section. You can move it to the bottom or credit me elsewhere if you prefer. ❖ IMG - image url. make sure it's at least 500px in width or a pattern texture. ❖ URL - link url ❖ link - link text ❖ Header - self explanatory ❖ THIS IS YOUR MAIN TEXT - The block of wide text in both. ❖ THIS IS YOUR BLOCKQUOTE - The block of thinner text in the second code. #f7f7f7 background color of the text in both and image separators in the second #424242 text color gray link text color. you have to use color names instead of hex codes for links in profiles. |
