[1] Fancy Control Strip; Layout Add-On

full-view or preview a version on this comm!

Code:

❖ Go to Customize Your Theme and paste the code into the 'Use embedded CSS' field. If you already have a layout code in there, just tack this onto the bottom. It won't hurt anything.

❖ If your current layout changes the control strip but you want this one instead, you may have to find the #lj_controlstrip portion and replace it with this code.

❖ If your current layout makes changes to links (like text shadows or anything except color) then those changes will apply to this code. The color, however, will stay white unless you manually change it.

❖ If you run into a problem with installation or customizing or what have you, let me know.

NEW! Added mobile-friendly functions.

Hey! I'm setting up my Dreamwidth, and I just wanted to let you know that I used this control strip on my journal. I tweaked it just a bit so it'd match my theme's colours, but I left it untouched otherwise. Thank you very much for this wonderful add-on!
