Hey! It's totally okay! I figured that you were busy with things. The wait is absolutely no problem. ♥ Really, I meant to send a reminder ages ago, and it totally slipped my mind, so I apologize, too. Dreamwidth has also hidden notifs from me in the past, so I get it. ♥

About the project:

- The vertical spacing on the text of entries can be changed, no problem.

- I'm not sure what's happening with the text, but it must be a Firefox issue. That's no problem. I can absolutely find something else, and also make it more legible, too. The issue you're seeing mainly comes down to font size, so we can work with that.

- I can totally put those menus at the top and/or bottom in mobile, yes. I'll work on those designs.

- The search field can be edited! I don't have any paid journals right now, but I can find something and edit it in browser to show you what it should look like via screenshot.

- I've actually never tried using @ media like that with Dreamwidth before. I can totally test it out and see what happens, but I'd bet Dreamwidth does support it. I'll let you know! In the case that it does, do you have a palette in mind for a dark mode? I typically go with something that's more low contrast than just dark since most users have it on for accessibility purposes, but even low contrast palettes vary so much. Let me know what you think about that!

- Neocities works! I'll familiarize myself with it in the meantime before we get rolling on that part of the project. And as for that github link, I'm super familiar with that style, yeah, lol. I made my own portfolio site pretty similarly but with regular anchor links instead of using them as "fake" pages. But anyway!

- Ko-Fi works but it likes to take out a fee. I'm fine with continuing to use it, but I'm mostly using Paypal for payment these days. As for installments, you can do so however you feel most comfortable. Since we haven't started on the website part yet, I can understand if you want to hold off on that part until later.

Lastly, I'll create an update on the layout and send it to you in the next few days. I'm glad you like the direction so far! Thank you!
