Hello! Once again, took a little longer than I intended, but I have a mock-up of the sticky post ready for you to check out! It's over here. If you like it, I'll give you the code to test out on your own layout.
Unfortunately, despite my big talk, I don't think I can stretch it across the top, after all. This is what I have so far on the layout side of things. I'm going to keep working with it, but I think trying to put it across the top is going to do more harm than good, because the height won't be dynamic. Meaning, if the post ends up being smaller or taller than the limits I put in (or if you remove the sticky entry entirely), then everything else will end up staying where it is, making huge gaps or overlaps. This is because of how I had to set up the layout in the first place for the navigation links.
I also tried to just stretch it across the white space it's in, but the sidebar doesn't want to move much. It's the same problems/reasons for stretching this post across the top, too. The thing is, I totally feel like there is a way to do this right, but it'll probably require a good overhaul of how the layout is set up.
If I can't figure it out, I can scale down the entry code to fit better. Sorry for hitting such a ridiculous problem, lol. Let me know what you think of this look for the layout, though, and I'll keep fighting with it. o7
EDIT: Oh, sorry, one more thing about the entry code itself. When you click to expand the text for each block, I have two different styles. The first block has the links as buttons and the second/third has them as blocks. Let me know which ones you like best! Thanks!
