Hi! First off, I sent the DM with your layout code. Sorry again that it was late.

Anyway! About Neocities! Replying to your points in no particular order:

- re: dark mode. I can work with reds/purples for the dark mode. There is some color theory that goes into it but we can totally work with that for an overall theme.

- re: navigation. I could duplicate the links at the top of the layout easily, yes. However, with it being so many links, we might want to stretch the navigation across the page more, like a bar or something. I'll play with designs and see what looks best.

- re: icons. I found most of the icons over on one of the libraries I use, Simple Icons. The only one I can't seem to find is Dreamwidth. I'll keep looking, but I can still easily replace it with a similar looking icon.

- re: content lengths. The pages will be dynamic so that you can add as much or as little as you want. With the rules being long, using anchor links is a great idea. For that one particularly (or for every page), I could add a floating "top of page" link in the corner somewhere for easy access.

- re: site layout. I totally forgot about the static post. But making things flexible from 2x2 to 1x4, yes, that's totally do-able. As for the actual content, maybe we can play with a few designs and see what looks nicer/what's easiest for you to update and go from there. If you do see a concept you want to go for, though, links or pictures would be helpful. I'm so bad at visualizing ideas, lol. Also, you mentioned wanting a single column up above, and I think that's with everything in one space? Like columns within the column? Sorry, just want to make sure I'm picturing it right.

Regardless, I'll start working on this and get back to you in the coming days with a mock-up. ♥
