Flash Sale!
How this works! Every now and then, I'm going to open up flash sales. This will usually just be for cheap layouts, but there may be other subjects in the future. However, for these flash sales, I'm working on a first come, first served basis. There will almost always be only 10 slots available, so if you're not one of the first ten, you might have to wait until the next sale.
Plurk Layout - $15 *
Dreamwidth Layout - $45
Plurk Layout - $50
Terms:
- One slot/layout per person.
- Only accepting payment via Paypal.
- No DW points for compensation at this time.
- * Most Plurk layouts will likely need the Plurk Jailbreak extension for Chrome to be viewed correctly. This is not a strict requirement, we can make your Plurk layout pretty without it, but it is advised to have.

❖ I missed a sale and don't want to wait for another one!
Fair! I take regular commissions and also have a Patreon for more exclusive content.
❖ When is your next sale?
Whenever I have the time or the inclination. I'm not going to put a firm date rotation on these.
❖ What are your usual prices?
You can check out everything on my commissions page.
❖ What's the turnaround on these bad boys?
Depends, unfortunately. If you're first in line and are asking for a fairly simple code, maybe a couple of days at most. If you're at the end of the line, we might be looking at a few weeks. I'll keep you updated on the time table, and you can always reach out if you have any questions. If it's taking too long, you're free to remove your name from the list. I'll send you a full refund.
❖ Can I take a spot even though I don't know what I want?
Sure! We can do this a few ways.
- You and I can go back and forth and workshop on it. I've got plenty of questions that might help you narrow things down. I'll be working on other commissions while we're doing this, at least until we have something in mind.
- You can just hold on to the slot! Feel free to consider it an IOU on my part for something in the future.
- If you take a slot but don't reply to my messages, that's also okay. The slot will still be there for you (if it's paid at this point). However, if I hear no response by the time I'm done with the other commissions, I may go ahead and open another sale. Your slot is still there, but your space won't take up another. I'll just keep a note that you've got that IOU whenever I hear from you again.
- If I lose contact with you and you haven't paid for the slot after X amount of time passes, a few months or so, I'm going to send you a final notif and drop the commission. No more IOU.
❖ Can I take a slot for a friend/in the name of someone else?
Sure can! Unless this is some sort of surprise, though, I expect to eventually talk to the person this is for. If they say they don't want the commission, I'll drop it and refund whoever sent the money in the first place.
❖ I took a slot on your last sale. Can I take a slot on the next?
Yep! The usual limit is one slot per person per sale, unless stated otherwise.
❖ Where do we send payment? Will you take DW points?
Paypal! If I'm willing to take points, I'll let you know on this post, but that'll be kind of rare.
❖ When do I pay?
At any point you're comfortable with, so long as it's before delivery.

I do want it to be easy to read so anything that helps with that too.

Anyway, I have an example here up and running. I didn't add very many bells and whistles aside from a few housekeeping things I add to most of my layouts. The background is from Pexels and can be easily changed if you're wanting a different vibe. I also used this palette from Coolors.
You may first notice the lack of sparkles, lol. I wasn't entirely sure where/how you wanted to incorporate them, so I thought I'd get a base going and figure out what you were feeling from there. There's multiple ways we can include some sparkles (as a background GIF, as a GIF that appears in the backgrounds of links, I think I can even change your cursor to have sparkles, etc), but yeah, I wanted to touch base first. Sparkles is something that can easily go overboard, but also going chaotic with glitter is a great vibe, too, lol.
The background also covers the whole page. I can change this to only cover the timeline area and have the rest be a single color/gradient/different pattern or vice versa (have the timeline a single color or something). I could also do away with some of these colors, maybe add blur effects to differentiate the sections or something.
Anyway, there's a whole lot going on here. I'll stop for now, I don't want to overwhelm, lol. But please do tell me your thoughts on this look, no matter how big or small. Even if you hate everything about this current mock-up, that's still very useful information and we can change it entirely from the ground up. So anything you can think of, or even if you're happy with the current look, I'm all ears. Thanks for the commission!

I made a little graphic to show what I meant by "timeline" and "dashboard" to cut down on miscommunication in the future, lol. The timeline is where all the Plurks go and the dashboard is basically everything else. But it's good to know you like the blue bar! I'm glad you like the color.
Thanks for the feedback! I'm going to come up with a new mock-up to show you soon as I can, and we can figure out next steps.
Also, wanted to let you know that I got the payment in! Thank you!

These are just a couple of the better images I've found so far. I'm wondering if you have a preference in vibes, but mostly if you have an aesthetic/image you'd like me to match or anything. I've currently got the mock-up looking like a mess with colors all over the place, so please don't check it out and assume it's a final design in any capacity, lol. But yeah, I seem to be getting hung up on this. If you have any further ideas about the direction, I'd appreciate it.

The background could even be something abstract, I don't know.
I think I would like to hide the friends thing though.

Also removed the friends and fans boxes, too.
Anyway, I'm sorry this one's taking me so long to figure out! Just let me know if this is closer to the right direction. Thank you for your patience! ♥

I found a glitter/sparkle effect that has a similar color to the lilies, so I put that over the dashboard's background. As for the big lily in the corner, I was planning for that to be replaced with a cluster of smaller ones. Like I said, PS isn't my strong suit, but I was thinking of using this same image and overlapping copies to make it?
Also, I added lines between the days on the plurk timeline. You can see the full example here.
Please let me know if this is continuing in the correct direction for you. I think it's starting to come together but I want to see what you think.

So, the picture you linked is completely different from the mock-up. Is that because I don't have that extension? I do like what you have in the picture. But can you do like a gradient thing on the timeline so it's not a solid color?

So, with that said, if you don't want to/can't use the extension, I'll have to remake the mock-up. There'll also be more installation required on your part but it shouldn't be a problem. I'll talk you through it all. And I do believe I'll be able to put a gradient on the timeline instead of a single color, yes. I'll have to test out a lot of different things to see what does and doesn't work, but background colors shouldn't be an issue.

But if you do have Chrome, all you have to do is go here and click Add to Chrome. It'll do the rest on its own.

And yes, unfortunately. In my experience, it seems that most people have the extension than not, but we can still make the default look good for those who aren't using the extension. It just won't be an exact match to your layout.

I tried to do some photoshopping with the lily, and I think it looks okay. I've also added it to profile section, too. There's a few minor color changes and a new gradient on the timeline. Overall, let me know what you think of this!

Also, I'm not sure what you mean by the "profile pictures in the comments". Do you mean the pictures on the plurks themselves? Do you have a screenshot?
