How this works! Every now and then, I'm going to open up flash sales. This will usually just be for cheap layouts, but there may be other subjects in the future. However, for these flash sales, I'm working on a first come, first served basis. There will almost always be only 10 slots available, so if you're not one of the first ten, you might have to wait until the next sale.

• * Most Plurk layouts will likely need the Plurk Jailbreak extension for Chrome to be viewed correctly. This is not a strict requirement, we can make your Plurk layout pretty without it, but it is advised to have.

Whenever I have the time or the inclination. I'm not going to put a firm date rotation on these.

❖ What's the turnaround on these bad boys?
Depends, unfortunately. If you're first in line and are asking for a fairly simple code, maybe a couple of days at most. If you're at the end of the line, we might be looking at a few weeks. I'll keep you updated on the time table, and you can always reach out if you have any questions. If it's taking too long, you're free to remove your name from the list. I'll send you a full refund.

❖ Can I take a spot even though I don't know what I want?
Sure! We can do this a few ways.

• You and I can go back and forth and workshop on it. I've got plenty of questions that might help you narrow things down. I'll be working on other commissions while we're doing this, at least until we have something in mind.


• You can just hold on to the slot! Feel free to consider it an IOU on my part for something in the future.


• If you take a slot but don't reply to my messages, that's also okay. The slot will still be there for you (if it's paid at this point). However, if I hear no response by the time I'm done with the other commissions, I may go ahead and open another sale. Your slot is still there, but your space won't take up another. I'll just keep a note that you've got that IOU whenever I hear from you again.


• If I lose contact with you and you haven't paid for the slot after X amount of time passes, a few months or so, I'm going to send you a final notif and drop the commission. No more IOU.

❖ Can I take a slot for a friend/in the name of someone else?
Sure can! Unless this is some sort of surprise, though, I expect to eventually talk to the person this is for. If they say they don't want the commission, I'll drop it and refund whoever sent the money in the first place.

❖ I took a slot on your last sale. Can I take a slot on the next?
Yep! The usual limit is one slot per person per sale, unless stated otherwise.

❖ Where do we send payment? Will you take DW points?
Paypal! If I'm willing to take points, I'll let you know on this post, but that'll be kind of rare.

❖ When do I pay?
At any point you're comfortable with, so long as it's before delivery.

And yes, I do splash pages! I've done more traditional looking ones along with some "fakes" meant to mimic a splash page design. There's this version where I take a header or another module and make it the full screen height, so there's more content when the user scrolls down, and then there's this version that keeps everything in a compact box.

I'm also up for trying something new if your vision is really different from these, too. I know some people have made splash pages that will act as a type of pop-up on the screen, which will be fun to try out. Anyway, take your time and thanks again!

HI okay, i sent you payment, but i wanted to get you some information so you could start working! this layout will be for, if you know dragon age as a canon, a dalish elf, but if you don't know that suffice to say nature-focused wanderer dude with a motif of deer and wolves. i like traditional splash pages the best (i tend to dump a lot of in-progress posts on my journals without privating them), and gallery splash pages especially, like i'm using for this journal. i usually need to be able to link somewhere around 8 different entries on the splash. oh, and i literally never use the reading page, so it doesn't matter what that looks like lmao

the journal i'm going to be using it for is vir_assan, and a (very much in-progress) info page for him is here! hopefully that's enough for you to get started on, but i can definitely try to give more if you need it!!

Second, that aesthetic sounds super cute. I can totally look around for some clipart or something to use for this. Functionality-wise, would you like a sidebar or a place for extra links? Or would you like a generally clean look (aside from the frogs lol)?

Details Time: I'd love to get a layout for my newest RP character, wayshadowed. I set up a different layout of yours last night but I kind of am itching for something else...

His basic vibe is that he's a spirit, kind of animalistic, but he's trapped in the mortal world on a quest to become a knight/get honor, so kind of a blend of nature/forest vibes, but also knights and chivalric imagery.

I would love some kind of splash page, or a faux-splash page where you can scroll down to get to the content. And if it could be as mobile friendly as possible that would be fantastic.

This vibe sounds really cool, and I like what you've already got going with the current layout. I can definitely work on making something better for you, though, that fits the vibes more. I think I'll start with a faux-splash layout, that way if you decide during the process that you like it better as a splash page, we can easily transition it over.

Let me know if there's any particular imagery you'd like to use! For now, I can use the one on your current layout, even if it's just as a placeholder. But if you'd like something different and aren't sure what, I've got a lot of copyright-free sources I can thumb through to find something else.

I can hold the slot for you, sure! It might be a few days at the earliest before I'm able to get back to you with a mock-up, anyway.

But we can totally do blue, sparkles, and flowers! Would you like the dashboard to remain where it is, as well? Because we can hide it and make it extend on hover or something. I can also hide certain modules, create borders between comments- Basically anything listed in here and more, if you wanted some functional differences for a layout.

If all you want is just blue, sparkles, and flowers, though, we can work with that!

I'd definitely like a splash layout for Stelle here - gold/black is her general color theme aesthetic as well as like, stars/space. General coloring is like, what you can see on her outfit as well as this perhaps?

Definitely want to use this image on it and have space for several links - inventory, ic inbox, permissions, basic info, how's my driving.

I also do want to have space to have one of Stelle's most important quotes on there as well if possible. "When there is the chance to make a choice, make one that you know you won't regret..."

This sounds fun! I can totally work with this. I think I'll make the layout super minimal and have this nav as an inbox code instead of built in, if that's okay with you. It'll look like it's built into the layout itself, though, once I'm done with it.

It might take me a bit to get to this, but I'll let you know if I hit a snag or have a mock-up ready for you!
