How this works! Every now and then, I'm going to open up flash sales. This will usually just be for cheap layouts, but there may be other subjects in the future. However, for these flash sales, I'm working on a first come, first served basis. There will almost always be only 10 slots available, so if you're not one of the first ten, you might have to wait until the next sale.

• No DW points for compensation at this time.
• * Most Plurk layouts will likely need the Plurk Jailbreak extension for Chrome to be viewed correctly. This is not a strict requirement, we can make your Plurk layout pretty without it, but it is advised to have.

❖ When is your next sale?
Whenever I have the time or the inclination. I'm not going to put a firm date rotation on these.

❖ What are your usual prices?

❖ What's the turnaround on these bad boys?
Depends, unfortunately. If you're first in line and are asking for a fairly simple code, maybe a couple of days at most. If you're at the end of the line, we might be looking at a few weeks. I'll keep you updated on the time table, and you can always reach out if you have any questions. If it's taking too long, you're free to remove your name from the list. I'll send you a full refund.

❖ Can I take a spot even though I don't know what I want?
Sure! We can do this a few ways.

• You and I can go back and forth and workshop on it. I've got plenty of questions that might help you narrow things down. I'll be working on other commissions while we're doing this, at least until we have something in mind.


• You can just hold on to the slot! Feel free to consider it an IOU on my part for something in the future.


• If you take a slot but don't reply to my messages, that's also okay. The slot will still be there for you (if it's paid at this point). However, if I hear no response by the time I'm done with the other commissions, I may go ahead and open another sale. Your slot is still there, but your space won't take up another. I'll just keep a note that you've got that IOU whenever I hear from you again.


• If I lose contact with you and you haven't paid for the slot after X amount of time passes, a few months or so, I'm going to send you a final notif and drop the commission. No more IOU.

❖ Can I take a slot for a friend/in the name of someone else?
Sure can! Unless this is some sort of surprise, though, I expect to eventually talk to the person this is for. If they say they don't want the commission, I'll drop it and refund whoever sent the money in the first place.

❖ I took a slot on your last sale. Can I take a slot on the next?
Yep! The usual limit is one slot per person per sale, unless stated otherwise.

❖ Where do we send payment? Will you take DW points?
Paypal! If I'm willing to take points, I'll let you know on this post, but that'll be kind of rare.

❖ When do I pay?
At any point you're comfortable with, so long as it's before delivery.

Details Time: Be as detailed or vague as you want. If you aren't sure what you want: I want a new layout for my musebox. I like the argyle pattern, pink, purple, blue, black are my favorite colors, but nothing too high contrast. I like all kinds of aesthetics but mostly books, coffee, rp, music.

I would like it to be Minimal. I do want a links but it can be top or side. The journal is here. Is there anyway I could get a matching character roster?

The links are no problem. I can do that. And I can totally make a matching character roster, but I'd like to add $3 to the price.

Is there any design for this roster you'd like to go with? I was thinking of making it with anchor links, sort of like this one but smaller/more minimal.

Hey! That's fine, but can I get the images to be larger than a standard icon?

Hi! Larger image sizes are absolutely no problem. I can make them like 150x150 or 200x200 or we can go crazy with rectangles instead (like 100x200). Either way, I'll be sure to base it off the final version of this layout.

Speaking of, I got a bit of a mock-up together. I didn't put it on a journal yet, but let me know what you think of this overall design. Is it too much? I could make the argyle pattern something more of an accent rather than the background, if you think that would be better.

I think it might be too much in the pink. Maybe do the background grey and the accents in a pink? Or I also like the idea of it being an accent too. I open to anything.

I played with the colors a bit! There was definitely too much pink going on, you're right. What do you think of this overall palette? I still may change more of the design itself, but I already think this is going in a better direction, lol.

That looks fantastic! I'm sorry, I thought I had replied to this a few days ago.

Hi! I know it's been a few days, but I made a couple of mock-up examples for this character roster code. Here's two examples I made so far. Please excuse the blurry image, it's not the same size as the container, which is currently set at 120x120.

Just let me know what you think of these two designs! Of course, if you want something much simpler than this, like just a listing with headers, I can do something like that instead.

I'm glad you like it! I edited the entry to show what it would look like in practice. I also made one with a lot of text so that you could see how the spacing worked. Let me know if you want me to change anything.

I love it! What was the final image size?

The image sizes are 120x120, just a little bigger than the usual icons even though they look much larger. If you'd like a different size, just let me know. In the meantime, I'm going to get everything together and start sending stuff over!
